As the new year begins, I am here to tell you about an experience that has solely been the highlight of the year 2021 in my life. My first blog  Ladakh Part 1 from the Ladakh series describes the burst of emotions I felt about the trip. Every time I heard about Ladakh, my soul would hop into a virtual dreamland and, my heart would wish to witness this dreamland.  I probably come from that group of people who saw Ladakh in the Movie 3 idiots for the first time and, I do not mind giving them credits for increasing my hopes about the place.    This Ladakh trip seemed too good to be true. But what’s more interesting is the process of having a conversation about the trip. It started with negotiations, permissions, then planning, and much more.    How did it begin? As part of my annual visit to my maternal grandmother’s house, we all were in Karnataka. My brother was in the hostel all this while but had a short break in July-August. The year 2020 was not a pleasant year and the whole time in this lockdown, we probably waited to travel. My mind, body, and soul urged me to feel free and go closer to nature. All I knew was, when the next time I get to visit nature’s hidden beauty, it is going to be different.  Then came the day when I got a chance to interact with nature post the lockdown.   This story is all about how a little girl grew up to be the biggest admirer of water. It begins in 2006-2007 when the first time I saw a waterfall. I was 8 years old, my parents took me for my first trip, Gokak Falls in Karnataka.  Our First Trip to Gokak Falls  Honestly, I do not remember how I reacted, but I can imagine what my reactions could have been. Waterfalls clearly have the most mesmerizing views, and they can captivate your senses. But as I grew up and my encounters with water increased, my admiration for water bodies has seen no bounds ever since then.  The beginning of Forever  Well, that title is exactly what I am going to put out here and with all my heart I can say this is the best forever I could ask for. I learned how to swim when I was 4 years old.
